Painted Furniture & Floorcloths
Ar Works can take your old worn-out pieces of furniture and give them new life, or take new unfinished pieces of furniture and create a one-of-a-kind treasure for your home by adding a decorative painted finish. As long as the construction of the piece is solid, Arlene can transform it to fit beautifully into your home or office space. So why throw out that scratched-up end table or that old cedar chest when you can give it new life by having it refurbished with a decorative painted finish?

Furniture Pricing
- A $50.00 deposit is required for materials, and the balance due upon pick-up of the piece of furniture. No piece will be released until balance is paid.

Floorcloths
Each Ar Works floorcloth is individually hand crafted on canvas or linoleum, dated and signed. Canvas requires hemming and is therefore limited to rectangular or square shapes. Linoleum can be cut to any shape required. All paints and sealants are acrylic water-based. A well-constructed floorcloth will provide years of pleasure and hold up to extensive traffic and use.
Floorcloths Pricing & Payments
All prices for floorcloths are based on $15 - $25.00 per square foot, plus 7% Provincial Sales Tax (for Ontario residents only), on the total cost of the floorcloth.
- To create a new design there is a $75.00 non-refundable design fee due upon request for the drawing. If you submit your own design this fee is waived.
- If no drawing is requested for your floorcloth then a 50% deposit is required to confirm orders with the balance due prior to shipping.
- Floorcloths are usually shipped out 4 to 6 weeks after initial deposit is received.
